For Home Fashion Styling (FS 435), Fall 2026 semester. Designed two different furniture pieces as a collaboration between Gucci and Frank Ocean’s Homer. Using spreads from the Homer magazine as a base, the Shoji screen prototype takes inspiration from Gucci’s Spring and Fall 1996 seasons, which featured the Japanese-influenced “geisha heel”, and Ocean’s deep and personal connection to Japan. Additionally, the printed metal folding tray takes a photograph of Ocean, and the pre-existing Gucci product becomes a realistic rendering of a potential Homer x Gucci collaborative piece.
