For Home Fashion Styling (FS 435), Fall 2026 semester. Curated a residential interior design concept titled “Chateau Boheme”, appealing to the well-traveled maximalist and bohemian free spirit with a feminine emphasis. The aesthetic is antique vintage, with touches of Hollywood Regency glamour and sensual excess. Five found prints set the tone for three original Photoshop textiles, which are utilized throughout the residential design concept. A rosy Persian rug print anchors the bedroom and living room, with the bathroom and an Art Nouveau room screen featuring the peacock wallpaper. Additionally, the bedspread looks to East Asian furniture in the living room for inspiration, as well as traditional chinoiserie florals. The target audience is wealthy adult women ages 25-45 living on their own who are looking to reconnect with their inner feminine desire for beauty and lavish splendor. The designed spaces were rendered via Photoshop using imagery and furniture from Pinterest and 1stdibs.
