For Styling Prop and Set (VP 211), Fall 2026 semester. Objective is to style a celebrity, curate a concept, style two looks, organize a creative team and generate a rendering of the hypothetical shoot using Photoshop. The concept focuses on rising Slovakian popstar ADÉLA, whose seductive tracks look to the Y2K era as well as her upbringing as a trained ballerina in eastern Europe. Shoot location is the famed New York City. nightclub The Box, infamous for its provocative burlesque shows and dark 1920s aesthetic. Look 1 consists of Look 22 from Christian Dior by John Galliano Spring 2003 Ready-to-Wear with Mark Gong’s Spring 2026 strappy heels, and Look 2 is depicted in the rendering: ADÉLA wearing Look 76 from Alexander McQueen’s Spring 2001 Ready-to-Wear show titled Voss, along with the Christian Louboutin x David Lynch "Ballerina Ultima" heels from the 2007 "Fetish" collaboration.
